2006 marks the twenty-sixth anniversary of the Chicago Advertising Co-Ed Softball League (CACSL). During the past 26 years, the league has produced a tremendous amount of fun and excitement and we expect that tradition to continue during ‘06 season.

In circa 1980, the CACSL was formed by group of advertising executives. They wanted to promote new friendships and rekindle old acquaintances on the diamond through friendly competition. Over the past two and a half decades, the league has grown and changed, but the main objective still remains the same - it's all about having fun, with a premium placed on good sportsmanship.

In 2005, the league expanded from 24 to 32 teams. All but one returned this season, with StarLink becoming the newest company to earn membership in the CACSL. To learn more about all the squads and find out who's playing where be sure to visit the teams section of the website.

So there you have it. The CACSL features a who's who of the advertising industry and in 2006 is bigger and better than ever! So come on out and see how Chicago style softball was meant to be played.
