marks the twenty-sixth anniversary of the Chicago Advertising Co-Ed
Softball League (CACSL). During the past 26 years, the league
has produced a tremendous amount of fun and excitement and we
expect that tradition to continue during ‘06 season.
circa 1980, the CACSL was formed by group of advertising
executives. They wanted to promote new friendships and rekindle old acquaintances
on the diamond through friendly competition. Over the past
two and a half decades, the league has
grown and changed, but the main objective still remains the
same - it's all about having fun, with a premium placed on good
2005, the league expanded from 24 to 32 teams. All but one
returned this season, with StarLink becoming the newest
company to earn membership in the CACSL. To learn
